Terms
Last updated 23 July 2026.
These plain-language terms cover use of the CrashCart tool and site. By downloading or using CrashCart you agree to them. They are a summary of how the product is intended to be used, not a substitute for legal advice.
Bring your own key
CrashCart requires your own AI provider account and API key. You are responsible for that account, for keeping the key secure, and for any usage costs the provider charges. CrashCart does not resell provider access and never receives your key.
You approve what runs
CrashCart helps diagnose and fix problems, but it acts on the machine you run it on. In Active Mode, the tool proposes commands and runs one only after you explicitly confirm it. You are responsible for reviewing and approving those commands and for their effects on your systems. Destructive-looking commands are flagged, but the final decision — and the responsibility — is yours.
The binary
Each build is tied to a specific provider and model. A licence to download is for the build offered at the time; newer builds may require a current subscription or a new one-time purchase. Don't redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the binaries.
No warranty
CrashCart is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is a troubleshooting aid, not a guarantee of a fix, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from its use. Always keep backups and understand a command before you approve it.
